Come climb with us! If you’re looking for a workout change, looking to get over a fear of heights, or just looking for a new hobby, come give indoor rock climbing a try!

Climbing is free at Gripstone if you haven’t been here before. Just ask me or another member of the group for a buddy pass (You also get provided free rental gear, but only one buddy pass can be given per day per member).

If it’s your first time climbing, let us know! We want this to be a fun experience with no pressure; we’ll give you tips and tricks along the way. We accept people of all backgrounds and all skill levels.

I have been and continue to plan on going to Gripstone daily; I plan on posting meetups for Gripstone Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays (schedule dependent) starting next week. I am Toprope Belay certified at this gym, but I am not Lead Belay certified yet.

Note: I am not a staff member, nor do I have any sort of endorsement from Gripstone. If you get in with a buddy pass and are interested in a membership at Gripstone, per their policy you only have one week to sign up for the 30 day trial period ($50). If you exceed one week, the trial period will not be available for you, and you will have to go with other paid options to get into the facility.

Join us for an evening of board games, bowling, and Whirlyball!

We will meet every other Friday at Whirlyball and every other Thursday at Lostfriends Brewery. We play a variety of card and board games, so feel free to bring your own and enjoy a fun time with us. We’re flexible with the start time; most people arrive about 30 minutes late, while some of us come 30 minutes early to relax, order food and drinks, and socialize.

Most games are easy to learn and typically last between 10 to 30 minutes. However, all games are welcome!
