Glen Eyrie Castle Tour
Details
For as long as I have lived in Colorado Springs, I’ve never bothered to take a tour of historic Glen Eyrie Castle next to the Garden of the Gods, so how about we check it out as a group? The historical home of city founder William Jackson Palmer was built in 1871 and is one of the oldest structures still standing in the area. From what I’ve heard from people who have visited, it’s a beautiful building and grounds. 🏰
The guided tour will last approximately 90 minutes, and will include walking outdoors and indoors and walking up & down stairs (accommodations can be made for ADA).
Tickets are $14, and need to be purchased in advance on the following website:

Just be sure to select the same date and time as this Meetup event. There are only 24 available spots, and there is no way to reserve spots for just our Meetup group and keep the general public out, so if you’re interested, buy your tickets for this ASAP! Also please keep your RSVP’s current as you purchase your tickets so other people can keep tabs on how full the reservations get.
After the tour is over, I would not object to enjoying post-tour refreshments at a nearby brewery afterwards!
