Golden Harvest 5K/10K/Half Marathon

Hi folks! Sorry about the late posting of this event! Register by Thursday, August 27th to ensure that you get a shirt reserved in your size! Note that the races all start at the same time at 8:00 AM, but you'll want to show up early enough to pick up your race packet that morning (packet pickup starts at 6:30 AM).

Here's another running event that's new to me, but right here in Colorado Springs! Sign up for either the 5K race, 10K race, or join me on the Half-Marathon! This one starts on the south side of town and you basically run a generally flat course out to Fountain and back along the Greenway Trail. Seems nice and straightforward! Registration gets you a shirt and a finisher medal with refreshments at the end. Register via the link here:

If you want to be insane (like me!) and sign up for 3 half-marathons in Colorado Springs at once on the website for the months of September, October, and November, it's a heck of a good deal financially (I'll post the other 2 races as Meetup events soon also)! This particular one would also be a great low-key training half-marathon if you are planning to do the Colorado Springs Half-Marathon in October. If anyone is interested in going out for some brunch after the race wraps up, I'd be game for that too. Hope you can join me!
