About us

About us
A couple of years ago I swapped rom-coms for thrillers and never looked back. It started with films and shows, then it was everything thriller: games, books, mysteries of every kind.
I started this club to meet more people who love a good crime story, and to share the joy of cracking a murder mystery together. I want it to be a welcoming space where newcomers can walk in alone, meet people, and find a shared hobby.

What we do
Once a month we open a case file and try to solve a murder. The format changes from event to event: a cold case, a puzzle hunt, or a roleplay night. Right now I'm mostly hosting cold cases.
Here's how a cold case works. You get the documents an investigator would get: witness statements, interviews, forensic reports, photographs, phone records, floor plans. Then you work. You read the statements against each other, build a timeline, measure the physical evidence, and decide whose account holds up. By the end of the session, we name a suspect and see how we did.

Who it's for
No experience needed. If you like modern mysteries, true crime, or the particular satisfaction of noticing that two people can't both be telling the truth, you'll fit right in. Most of us came for the case and stayed for the company. Arguing over who's lying is half the fun, and the friendships tend to follow.

Halloween Horrow Fest Murder Mystery - Live Detective Investigation

Halloween Horrow Fest Murder Mystery - Live Detective Investigation

Alexanderplatz, Mitte, 10178 Berlin, Germany, Berlin, BE, DE

Hello, fellow private investigators,

Join us for our Halloween-themed live group investigation into the fictional unsolved murder of a movie theatre owner. This isn't a roleplay night — you won't be assigned a character or a script. We're all detectives working the same case, reading witness statements, forensic reports, crime scene photos and evidence files, and reasoning out loud as a group to figure out who did it and why.

What to expect
Format: A sealed cold case file, opened in stages. Each stage ends with a checkpoint question, and you unlock the next envelope by proving what the evidence shows. No host feeding you answers, just the evidence. A sealed hint is available if you get stuck.
Teams: We'll split into teams of 3–6 investigators. Come with friends or on your own and I'll place you.
Time: Roughly 2–3 hours. This is a sit-down, take-notes-and-argue kind of afternoon.
Difficulty: Choose easy, medium or hard at check-in.
Experience: None needed, and you don't have to have joined the earlier cases. No puzzles to decode, no trivia knowledge required. Everything you need to solve it is somewhere in the file.
Language: This event will be held in English.
Location: A cosy café in Mitte. The exact address will be sent to you three days before the event.
Cost: €5 per person, collected at check-in. It covers the case files and organising the event — I don't make a profit from these events.
