It doesn't matter what you're writing. When we write together, we share energy, commitment, and accountability. And those things make magic happen on the page!

Join us for an hour of writing together online via Zoom. This session is simply time for us to write together. There's no writing prompt, no reading your work, and no critique. Just the freedom to write whatever you want in the company of other writers.

Here's the schedule for our session:

6:55: Zoom room opens.

7:00: Quick introductions. We each share a little about who we are, where we're joining from, what we're working on, and what we hope to accomplish in our hour of writing together.

7:15: Writing together! For the next hour, everyone focuses on their writing project.

8:15: Sharing our progress. We reconvene to share how the writing session went--good, bad, fast, slow, whatever. Every writer has good days and bad days. The important thing is that you showed up!

8:30: End of writing session. We're done at 8:30, but if you're on a roll, keep writing! Writers may sometimes stick around for a few minutes longer to socialize or talk about writing.

That's it! You may be surprised by how much progress you make when you commit to write together one or more times a week!

A few ground rules:

You must RSVP to join a writing session, and the name you use to sign into Zoom must match the name you use to RSVP.

Our writing sessions are open to all group members, but sessions are limited in size, so RSVP early! If you've RSVP'd for a session but can't attend it, please take a moment to switch your attendance to Not Going so someone else can have your spot.

We're here to write. Anyone who behaves disruptively will be removed from the writing session and banned from the group.
