This week we will start at Chelsea Green Park located at 1 Adelaide Street south.
I believe we will be walking all the way to Wellington Road, cross Wellington and walk to Ivy park downtown. I think that's the 4 km but we will see when we get out there.

Let's not let the winter ruin our momentum. My plan for the winter walks will be to walk the paved trails across the city. London has 166 km of paved trails that are maintained in the winter. Let's see how much of it we can do.

some point to remember

1....The hikes will start exactly at 1pm. In the nice weather I didn't mind giving people a 10-minute leeway but it's too cold now for the rest of us to be standing outside waiting for everybody to show up. So PLEASE arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start of the hike so we can do introductions and talk about a few safety tips. It's a good practice to Google the location the day before so you know how long it's going to take you to get there.

2...The hikes are cross-posted with the London singles group and look out london... please only need to sign up for one group !

3.... If you sign up and then can't make it please be considerate and remove your name from the list so the rest of us are not waiting for you.

I have been doing the hikes so that everybody can join. We're not rushing through the trail. We are going at a pace where it's comfortable for everyone and taking breaks so those who are going slower can catch up.
