Let's Celebrate the Year of the Red Horse

Let's have dinner together on a Sunday and celebrate the Year of the Horse.
Chinese New Year for 2026 runs from Tuesday, February 17, 2026 to Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

I chose March 1 because I thought it would be a good way to start off a new month and still get in on Chinese New Year celebrations. Also, not much happens on a Sunday night and I'm hoping many of you will be available to attend this event.

Please join me at the East Gate Chinese Restaurant for good food and lively conversation. I have hosted events for another Meet Up group at this restaurant several times and we always had a high turnout.

East Gate has a great reputation for serving good food and their prices are reasonable. It's my family's go-to place for special occasions.

Please note: The East Gate is in front of the new Malibu Restaurant on Dundas Street (east of Clarke Road). The Malibu closed their old location and moved to the back of the East Gate. I'll post a separate event some time for the Malibu if my dinners and lunches create interest. 👍

I'm a recent member of Shenanigans and I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing lots of those I already know.
