Weight Training In the Park

We will do this every week for 10 weeks starting Tuesday April 28 until Tuesday June 30th. and then again in the fall.

You bring your own weights. Also, bring a big towel or a yoga mat. We do 15 mins of yoga after working out. I do all standing stretches but we do put hands on the ground. So thats why you need a towel or yoga mat.

I do cross training. So that involves a set of upper body training followed by a set of lower body x2 and then a set of standing abs. We will be doing 5 sets just like that. You will have to bring your own dumbbells. Depending on what your fitness level is, you may want to start at 1 lb. You may want to start higher. Absolutely up to your own personal level. The workout will consist of 10 minutes of warmup. 40 minutes of workout and 15 to 20 mins of stretching. Rough estimate of the time. Sometimes it might go longer sometimes not as long.

Location will be under the Pavilion at Springbank Park. I'm not booking the Pavilion so hopefully it will be available when we get there otherwise it will be on the grass

How to find me

Pull into the storybook Gardens entrance off commissioners road. 1085 commissioners road. Instead of turning right towards storybook Gardens go straight. Theres a small parking lot on the left. It's close to the bathrooms. You can see the Pavilion from there. It's just a short walk across the grass. I drive an Orange SUV. I will be there at 4:15.
