with a series of short presentations
Animus and Anima in Fiction:
3 novels discussed, and an experiential exercise,
presented by SAFOJ Board Members

Our annual meeting will begin with a brief review of 2024/25 activities by our president Ann Bright, and of finances by our treasurer Kathy Keler. This will be followed by a member vote on Board Officers and At-Large Board Members for 2025/26.

After this first segment (about 15 minutes) of Board business, we are pleased to share Animus and Anima in Fiction, presented by SAFOJ Board Members, followed by a discussion.

Existing members, those considering joining, and those just curious-- are all welcome!

About Animus and Anima in Fiction
Three SAFOJ Board members will present short talks on novels that have influenced their thinking on Animus, Anima and the journey into the unconscious:

Flight from the Enchanter, by Iris Murdoch: Kathy Keler
The Left Hand of Darkness, by Ursula LeGuin: Lauren Raine
Following these 3 presentations (about 7 min. each), Christine Clawley will lead an experiential exercise, with everyone on the zoom call invited to participate.
