What we’re about
Hey everybody! This group is literally just to get together and read the Bible and discuss what we get out of it.
You do not have to be one specific religion to come. This is an open call to anyone who wants to read the Bible and discuss it with others.
The hope is we gain knowledge and wisdom together. Opinions are welcome, judgements are not.
I’ll post whichever chapters are going to be discussed as the title. It’s okay if you haven’t read it beforehand: we’ll dedicate the first 20ish minutes to reading, then have an open discussion breaking it down verse by verse. The Bible is intricate so we’ll reference other chapters and books that connect.
•Phones are welcome (I don’t know all the references by heart haha so let’s use our resources).
•Physical Bible is encouraged but electronic bible is works perfectly as well. (If you do not have a physical bible and would like some help getting one- hit me up)
For anyone who doesn’t feel comfortable, prayer is optional. (Personally I feel like it gets me into the right mindset and open to hearing and understanding what I’m meant to). Like everything, it’s a personal choice :)
