Elder Fehn ~5.25 mi Lollipop

We're heading out past Woodland Park for this pretty hike with views of the Crags and the backside of Pikes Peak.

This lollipop route takes us on some roller up/down hills to an Aspen stand. This is the stem of our hike up to our small loop. We will be under the canopy of trees for most of this hike, giving us some nice shade.

Great peekaboo views of Pikes Peak, Crags, and areas beneath. There is some steady uphill on this stretch to the loop. Once we reach the loop we will hike counterclockwise back to the stem (really pretty here), then down to the lot.

Total elevation gain is ~960'

Dogs allowed on leash.

There is a bathroom at the trailhead. Parking lot is on the left as soon as the paved road turns to dirt.

*carpool is encouraged as this is a popular trail.
