North Cheyenne Canyon ~5 mi loop

We're going to do this mostly rolling hike through N. Cheyenne Canyon and Stratton Open Space. This trail system is nothing too difficult, and does rise up to some beautiful views south and east.

We will park where the water tower sits and hike around the Gold Camp reservoir on the Chamberlain trail. After we rise up to the reservoir we will split onto the Upper Meadows trail and around to a connector to the Ridge trail. This will bring us back to the reservoir and Chamberlain, down to our parking lot.

Total elevation gain is ~400'.

Dogs allowed on leash.

NOTE: The parking lot is small, maybe 12 spots (just past the fork of N/S Cheyenne Canyon Road), so please consider carpool.

Brunch post-hike an option as usual ☺️.
