”Beyond the Spectrum” acknowledges that sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression are far more diverse and fluid than can be captured by a single acronym (LGBTQIA+). The + sign represents the vast, ever-evolving, and sometimes unidentified identities that fall outside of traditional binary (male/female) or cisgender norms.
Beyond the Spectrum is a safe, affirming peer support group where gender non-conforming folks, as well as all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, can:
-process their unique challenges
-have a space to explore identity & identity exploration
-have a source/space of empowerment
-foster community & support
