Women on Walls (WoW) - Social Climbing Event [Point Breeze]

Hey everyone!

Moving forward for 2026, Women on Walls (WoW) will be alternating between 1st Mondays at South Side and 3rd Wednesdays at Point Breeze.

Come join us on Wednesday January 21, 2026 from 7-9p.m. to meet, hangout, climb, and socialize. Look for the cactus plushie! And follow the Instagram: ascendwow https://www.instagram.com/p/CVVtfINFArr/

A few reminders for first timers:

• Sign the waiver ahead of time and find out more info about Ascend
  https://www.ascendpgh.com/visiting-ascend
• Wear comfortable workout / yoga clothes that allows you to stretch; some surfaces may be scratchy so recommend longer pants your first time
• Shoes / Harness are available for rent if you don't have your own gear
• There are lockers and cubbies to place your bag, water bottle, etc.
• Feel free to ask any questions! We were all new once...
• You can sign up online or get a discounted day pass for $18 by mentioning that you are attending the WOW event at the front desk

WOW intends to be an inclusive and safe space where women can climb together, learn from each other, and hang out while meeting new friends!
