Come Out, Have Fun & Make New Friends in DFW!
This group is for adults who want to get out of the house, have fun, meet new people, and experience more of what the Dallas–Fort Worth area has to offer.
There isn't just one type of activity here—and that's the point! Some of us love hiking and dancing. Others would rather grab brunch, see a movie, browse a farmers market, join a book discussion, or meet for happy hour. You don't have to be interested in everything. Come to the events that sound fun to you and meet people who enjoy them too.
Our events may include:
- Local festivals, fairs and community events
- Free concerts in the park and live music
- Farmers markets and weekend outings
- Hiking, walking and outdoor adventures
- Dancing, karaoke and other active fun
- Game nights, trivia and other social activities
- Movies and entertainment
- Happy hours
- Weekend brunches and occasional dinners
- Book club gatherings and interesting conversations
- Seasonal events and spontaneous local adventures
- New activities we've never tried before
We'll make an effort to find free and inexpensive things to do, with many activities free or under $20 whenever possible. There will occasionally be more expensive activities for those who are interested, but having fun shouldn't require spending a fortune.
One Group, Lots of Ways to Connect
Think of this as a social community with smaller communities naturally developing within it. Our brunch crowd might be different from our hiking crowd, our book lovers might have their own regular gatherings, and the people singing karaoke Friday night might be completely different from the people wandering a farmers market Saturday morning.
That's perfectly okay.
The goal isn't for everyone to attend everything. It's to create lots of opportunities to get out, have experiences, make new friends and build genuine connections.
Come alone or bring a friend. Try something familiar or something completely new. Attend once a month or come out every weekend.

Plano Balloon Festival

Come hang out with us for an evening of hot air balloons, live music, a parachute exhibition, the Balloon Glow, and fireworks!
We'll meet up, enjoy the festival together, and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Come alone or bring a friend—this is all about getting out, having fun, and enjoying something different around DFW.
What we're planning to see:
• RE/MAX of Texas Parachute Team Exhibition
• Ice House Band in Concert
• Balloon Glow presented by H-E-B | Central Market
• Spectacular Fireworks Display
Admission: Approximately $6.50–$15 depending on ticket/option selected. Each attendee is responsible for purchasing their own admission.

Grab your lederhosen—or just grab yourself—and join us for a fun day at Fort Worth Oktoberfest!
We'll get together, meet some new people, and experience one of DFW's biggest Oktoberfest celebrations. Expect German music, dancing, food, beer, games, competitions, shopping, and plenty of opportunities to laugh and have a good time.
Fort Worth Oktoberfest offers a variety of activities and entertainment, including live German music, traditional dancing, stein-hoisting competitions, carnival games and rides, dachshund races, shopping, German food, and plenty of Oktoberfest beverages.
Whether you're coming for the music, the food, the activities, the beer, or simply to meet some new people, you're welcome!
