Join us for a colorful afternoon at the Hortus Bulborum in Limmen.🌷🌼

In this garden we will enjoy a large collection of Dutch spring bloomers. This is the perfect outing to get into the Dutch spring and summer vibes.

The Hortus Bulborum is the only garden in the world with a huge collection of historic spring bulbous plants.

Over 4,500 different varieties of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, crocuses and Fritillarias display their beautiful colors in spring.

The garden is open to visitors until May 16th and is in full bloom at this moment, so this is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys flowers and/or nature photography. Or just to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

After our walk through the garden we will have a coffee ☕ and/or cake 🍰moment in their very own cafe, from where we will get the chance to overlook the garden.

The entrance fee is 5,50.
Dogs are not allowed.

Join us for a relaxing evening beach walk from Egmond aan Zee to Bergen aan Zee! This scenic walk offers stunning views of the coastline, the ocean breeze, and the perfect opportunity to unwind.

We will walk along the beach, stopping halfway in Bergen aan Zee for a drink at a beachrestaurant. After that, we’ll return to Egmond aan Zee, where we can enjoy the beautiful sunset over the sea — a perfect way to end the day! 🌅
🛤️ Route details:
🟢 Distance: About 8 km (round trip)
🌊 Easy beach walk, but bring sturdy shoes (the sand can be soft in places)
☕ Halfway stop for a drink in Bergen aan Zee
🌅 We’ll end our walk back in Egmond aan Zee, with an amazing sunset view over the sea
🚗 Transportation:
Pick-up available from Alkmaar station for max 4 people (let me know if you need a ride! 😊)
