ALMADEN LAKE PARK
Almaden Lake Park is a popular area in San Jose. We will walk around the lake (about 1 mile) and continue walking alongside Alamitos Creek.
The expected pace will be around 17 min/mile. Not too fast, not too slow. Then we will have a nice lunch at a nice restaurant. We ate there before and enjoyed the food and the patio atmosphere.
STREET PARKING & MEETING PLACE:
PARK on Winfield Blvd or in the park's parking lot.
MEET AT THE BOCCE BALL area, near the bathrooms and playground.
FACING THE LAKE, We will start walking towards the RIGHT side of the lake and will continue on Alamitos's Creek.
MILES:
Around 4-5 miles. You are more than welcome to do more or less miles depending on your comfort level/needs.

Park permits for Santa Clara annual cost is $48.00 for seniors (60+). You get to park in a lot of county parks withour having to pay the $6-10 daily parking fee.
