What we’re about

Looking for people to go hiking on weekdays around the Denver area. I am recently retired, but it doesn't matter if you're retired, work shifts and weekends, are a stay-at-home parent or are independently wealthy and don't need to work, as long as you're available to go hiking sometime Monday-Friday during the day. I am married but my wife hasn't retired yet. So, I'm not looking to hook up with anyone, just looking to go hiking with friends. I live in the southern suburbs, so I'll plan my first few hikes on this side of town. But, if others want to join and are further north, I'd be happy to do some subsequent hikes in that area. Right now, I'm thinking maybe a couple of hikes per month. Once the winter sets in, I might stick to hikes on bike/walking trails in the metro area that are less likely to be snow-covered. While it's still warm, I'll try to do more interesting hikes in the foothills and such. I'm planning moderate or easier hikes and am willing to vary the pace to make others comfortable. No forced marches all the way to Wyoming or anything like that.
