Edward Taylor will likely be a familiar face to many returning members of this meetup. Known within the group as EddieTheYeti, he recently published his debut novel Drop and wants to celebrate over a couple of beers! Check out his novel's synopsis below! He will be selling paperback copies at his tent outside. However, he wants to stress that buying a book is not required. Please feel free to stop by and simply enjoy some brews and the company.
Marcus Bailey had always dreamed of enrolling in a top-notch music program. During a summer of soul-searching, Marcus discovers his love for electronic music and forms the group Resonant Circuit with high school friends Janie Olsen and Jason Cabral. Originally only intending for the project to be a hobby, their music goes viral overnight. Approached by the CEO of Macer Records, Damien Lester, they sign with the well-funded yet fledgling label. The son of a wealthy business mogul, he seemed like the perfect person to propel the group towards stardom. Suddenly recognized for his talent, Marcus becomes obsessed with their newfound fame. However, Janie begins to suspect their boss may not be all he seemed, and the entertainment industry may not be the life they had always dreamed.
