First Beach Day!

Hey everyone,

This is long overdue, but we’ve finally planned our first beach day! We're also hoping for one more in August/September. With the recent warm weather, we’re hopeful it will be cooler along the water.

Our usual spot is Camp Cronin, which you'll find as Camp Cronin Fishing Grounds in Narragansett on Google.

For planning, just like any typical beach day, feel free to bring whatever items you think are necessary. Make sure to bring enough hydration, food, sunscreen, and an umbrella. You’re also welcome to bring any games you'd like to share, such as cornhole, football, frisbee, or other beach games, and even table games.

Dogs are welcome at this beach. Please note that alcohol is typically prohibited on beaches.

We suggest considering carpooling due to limited parking space. If you prefer to drive yourself, that’s absolutely fine. There is limited parking at the site, so people typically park along the street outside the main entrance.

For those interested in carpooling, we can set up a meeting at the Walmart in Providence at 9:30 AM and carpool down to try to get there before 11:00 AM. This event can last anywhere from a few hours to multiple hours, so plan accordingly. Let us know if you have any questions!
