Hey everyone!! It's time for our annual Halloween Social. We figure the bars will be mobbed on actual Halloween night. Plus a lot of people may already have plans, or want to be home to pass out candy. So we figured let's make the most of our costumes and go out the night before.

TLDR: Halloween themed social night. Costumes encouraged but not required. Prizes awarded for certain costume categories. Secondary stops after Ogie's Trailer Park dependent on weather and group size. Hosts will post location in comments at start of event.

Usually we go to GPub since it has plenty of indoor space, but this year let's go to Ogies Trailer Park. They have both indoor and outdoor space, and there's even a fire pit if we're lucky. The hosts will post our location in the bar in the comments at the start of the event.

We'll once again be doing The Bonies (ok we may need to work on the name lol). We'll be passing out skeleton trophies for best overall, funniest, and most original costumes! Of course costumes are not at all required, so feel free to just join in on the fun if you'd rather not dress up. If you do decide to dress up, please just use common sense. This is a private business who has the right to refuse service.

If you've never been to Ogie's, don't worry it's not an actual trailer park. Though that would make for interesting Halloween party haha Ogie's is one of the city's most interesting bars by far. The interior is designed with a retro 1950s themed vibe, and their outdoor patio has fake trailer facades and plenty of seating. The interior has plenty of space if the weather isn't on our side. Drinks wise Ogie's easily has something for everyone. While their outdoor tiki bar is likely closed by now, they offer up a great selection of Tiki (tropical) cocktails year round which still go down easy even when there's a chill in the air. They also offer plenty of modern classics and pre prohibition cocktails. If you want something off menu they can likely make it, but maybe don't go overly crafty. If beer is your thing they have a solid selection of option on tap and canned options. There's also cider, seltzers, and canned cocktails.

The bar's kitchen window Granny Boo's also serves up some great food if you come hungry. They're known for the tater tots, which can be a lifesaver after a few cocktails since Ogie's doesn't skimp on the spirits with their drinks. Ye have been warned lol Check out the link below for their menu.

Our plans after depends on the weather and the size of our group. Deadbeats around the corner would make for a perfect spot with their horror movie theme, but we figure everyone may have the same idea haha Plus they're on the smaller side. There's also The Avery and Kimi's a short walk away. We'll figure it out on the night.

Ok now for the less fun/official stuff:

This event has no connection to Ogies Trailer Park or any other locations we may stop at during the night. This is just a fun little event we do ourselves.

Even though we may move from one or two locations this event is not a pub crawl. We don't have any set plan nor will we be timing stops. If the weather is poor we may just stay at Ogies. Please drink responsibly. This is a night we highly recommend planning a designated driver, using a ride share/taxi, or planning to have someone pick you up.

By RSVPing to this event you are agreeing that this meetup nor its hosts are responsible for any damages that may occur as a result of your behavior or others. Members are responsible for their own conduct.

We're lucky to have a fantastic membership base. In the unlikely event of any issues please do not hesitate to speak with a host. We will remedy any issue to the best of our ability.

Ok now that the less fun stuff is out of the way. We're looking forward to a ghoulishly good time! If you have any questions please reach out to the hosts directly, or leave a comment below.
