Methodist Mountain and Little Rainbow Salida

Please join me while I check out some beginner trails in Salida, specifically the Methodist Mountain and Little Rainbow Race Track Loop, 14 miles and 1185 feet. I haven't been here before, so I may have to improvise a little to find my way. We'll start on a paved bike path from the F Street Bridge trailhead as per the MTB Project map. If some of you have better knowledge of the area and can offer suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I'm looking specifically for beginner trails for a new riding buddy. Experts will be bored.

Meetup was not cooperative about defining the location. The pin is correct - it's a parking lot at the northeast end of F Street, just across the river from town. Meetup insisted on an address - 220 W Sackett Ave is a few blocks away, but I'll be in the F Street Bridge parking lot.
