About us

IFP Phoenix (Independent Feature Project Phoenix) supports and develops the growth of independent filmmaking in Arizona through education, networking, exhibition, and filmmaking opportunities. Our goal is to facilitate connections in the Arizona filmmaking community.

IFP Phoenix is a program of the Phoenix Film Foundation and sibling organization to the Phoenix Film Festival, International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival, Arizona Student Film Festival, Peoria Film Fest, Phoenix Critics Circle, and the Phoenix Film Society

48 Hour Film Challenge

# Are you a filmmaker looking for a challenge? Are you an aspiring artist looking for an opportunity to give filmmaking a try? Join IFP's Beat the Clock Challenge! From May 1-3, you'll have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a five minute short film.

# Teams will be competing to be the first official selection of the 2027 Phoenix Film Festival, as well as a $250 prize. Every film turned in, (even those turned in late!), will be screened at the Harkins Scottsdale 101. Click the link to register and for more details!
