This is about a 3.1 mile trail. No elevation gain. Dogs on a leash please. Regular walking shoes is fine.

Join us for an easy 2.6-mile out-and-back walk along the Bear Trib Arroyo Trail. We’ll park across the street by Walgreens and head out together.

This is a relaxed evening walk perfect for winding down the day. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Come enjoy some fresh air, good company, and a peaceful night walk.

We’ve done this beautiful trail before and are excited to return! It’s located near Cuba, New Mexico, in the San Pedro Parks Wilderness Area. It’s a moderately challenging hike with stunning scenery and is open year-round.

Important note: If it has rained, the trail can get very muddy, so we’ll keep an eye on the weather leading up to the event.

Other things to know:
• Dogs are welcome!
• Mad cows warning: Last time, we had some “unfriendly” cows watching us closely. Stay alert and be prepared.
• Bring plenty of water, snacks, and sun protection (hat, sunscreen, etc.).

Backpacking Opportunity:
We’ve had a few members asking about trying out backpacking. This trail is perfect for that! About two miles into the loop, there’s a large open field that would be ideal for setting up camp. If you’re interested in trying a short backpacking experience, this is your chance. I will be bringing backpacking gear.
