Bear Canyon w/ Kaitlyn Round 3 (Meet at High Desert Park)

Hello friends! This hike was well liked last time I did it, so I'm doing it again! I'm hoping to time this one so we'll see a good sunset going down Bear Canyon again.

This one will be 3-3.25 miles. You can see the route & elevation change from when I walked it in the photos. We will not do the entirety of Bear Canyon or the canyon loop.

This one will finish in the dark, but I'll have a flashlight & we'll be on well marked paths or sidewalks the entire time. We'll do half of the uphill portion first & then be downhill the entire way down Bear Canyon & then circle back up to High Desert Park via Tramway & Spain/Academy (Academy adds about 0.25 miles, so depending on time we can pick which road we turn up).

Dogs are welcome on this hike. Hiking boots & poles aren't needed if not desired. If you have a flashlight or well charged cell phone the light will be appreciated 😊
