Festival of the Cranes • Friends of Bosque del Apache

This annual Festival of the Cranes has quickly become one of my favorites!

This event is more of a scenic outing than a traditional hike, as much of the experience will be from the car while we tour the refuge. There will be plenty of opportunities to get out, stretch, and take photos along the way.

We will also stop at the Visitor Center to learn more about the cranes and the habitat that supports them.

We will plan to leave early to avoid larger crowds. This is a carpool event, so we will coordinate rides in advance.

Come prepared for a fun and relaxing day of nature, photography, and learning!
