King of the Mountain, Crest and Challenge trails

This will be a 4 mile hike with 600 feet of elevation gain at the top of the Sandia crest. We will meet at the Walmart at Eubank to carpool to the 10k trailhead. We will start on King of the Mountain (see Alltrails below) to the top of the tram and then take the crest trail north to the Kiwanis trail down to the Ellis trailhead and then the challenge trail down. There is $5 parking unless you have a pass. For those in the east mountains, you could meet at trailhead, but please let me know your plan.

Bring a hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and a snack and/or lunch. Dogs are welcome on leash.
