10k trail - South Section

Details
I realized that in order for me to get better at hiking, I need to push myself a little further. I haven’t done this trail since before the accident, and it’s time to step it up again.
We’ll be taking on the 10K Trail (South Section) — about 4.9 miles with around 915 ft of elevation gain. The terrain includes some rocky and uneven sections, but the reward is worth it: dense forest, tall grass areas, and incredible views of the valleys and mountains.
The weather will be cooler, which makes this the perfect time to tackle it. I recommend hiking boots and poles.
Come ready to challenge yourself a bit and enjoy one of the most scenic trails in the Sandias.
Anyone that lives jn the East Mountains we will see tou there
See you on thee trails.
