Winter Weekday Hikes - Elena Gallegos

We will do a loop at the Elena Gallegos open space. This hike will be around 3.5mi, with about 380ft of elevation gain. We will meet at the Cottonwood Springs parking area. The Cottonwood Springs parking area is to the left of the entrance station at the end of the road. The location link on the listing is correct, you just need to click through the link to the actual pinned location. The hike will start at 3:15pm and hope to complete by 5:00pm.

The listing from AllTrails below is NOT the route we will take but it IS the trailhead we will meet at to begin our hike. You should be able to use that to find exact directions.

If you have not been to the Elena Gallegos area recently, there is still a $1 charge for parking, however you must now use the automated pay kiosk that only accepts cards.

As always, be prepared with good hiking shoes, water, sunscreen and hiking poles if desired.
