New Moon Star and Meteor Watch
Details
This will be our third attempt at a New Moon viewing, and this time we’re making it even better by adding meteor watching into the night.
This date falls just a few days after the New Moon, so skies will still be very dark, and just a few days before the peak of the Lyrid meteor shower, meaning we should catch a steady number of shooting stars throughout the evening.
I chose this night on purpose to avoid being out late on a weekday, so everyone can enjoy the experience without worrying about work the next morning.
Expect: ✨ Extremely dark skies
🌠 Regular meteor sightings
🌌 Incredible stargazing and constellations
Location: TBD (dark-sky area will be selected)
Bring warm layers, a chair or blanket, and your patience for some unforgettable skies.
More details coming soon.
