Shepard's Trail - Lamy New Mexico

We haven’t done this one in about four years, so I’m excited to bring it back. From what I remember, there isn’t much shade out here, so we’ll time this hike so the sun doesn’t bake us the whole way.

This is a 6.5-mile loop with about 547 ft of elevation gain, considered a moderate route, so come ready for a solid and rewarding hike.

Please bring plenty of water and snacks. Hiking boots and hiking sticks are strongly recommended. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
