Easy to moderate 1.8 mile loop and 311ft elevation gain. Estimate 50 minute hike.
Beginning from the parking area off Carlito Springs Rd, this trail heads steadily uphill via Carlito Springs Loop. The main highlight of this trail is the tranquil freshwater springs. There are also some lovely views looking out across the nearby neighborhoods to the distant mountains.
Temps likely high 80s to start and mid 70s as we near the end off the hike.
We will meet at 5:45pm in the parking lot and make introductions. The park closes its gate at 7pm, and we will start promptly at 6pm.
Bring plenty off water and sun protection.
Parking is limited. Feel free to carpool.
Dogs welcome and must be leashed.
