This is Easter. I don’t really celebrate much anymore, so let’s go get some air. This one means a little more to me, so I figured there’s no better way to spend it.

For this one, we’ll be heading out to the Ojito Wilderness and doing two hikes that are close to each other. This is a combination Greg came up with before, and it seems fitting to run it back.

First up is the Hoodoo Trail. This one has some really cool hoodoos and rock formations. It’s about 3.3 miles with around 295 feet of elevation, so a nice easy to moderate hike.

After that, we’ll head over to the Seismosaurus Trail. This one is about 2.25 miles with 148 feet of elevation, and it ends with some really interesting petroglyphs.

Both hikes are pretty similar in distance and difficulty, so it should be a good day out without being too much.

Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. Bring snacks, stay hydrated, and come prepared. Hiking shoes and walking sticks are highly recommended out here.
And who knows, maybe the Easter Bunny shows up with some chocolate… and by that I mean I’ll probably bring some.

See you on the trails.
