Diablo Canyon Trail - Santa Fe
Details
We’ll be making our way back up toward Santa Fe for this one and heading out to Diablo Canyon Trail.
This is about a 6-mile out-and-back, with the turnaround point at the Rio Grande, which makes for a great spot to take a break and enjoy the views before heading back.
There is little to no shade on this trail, so we’ll be starting early to stay ahead of the heat.
A high-clearance vehicle is needed to reach the trailhead, so we will be carpooling.
Please make sure to bring:
Plenty of water
A hat and ways to stay cool
Dogs are welcome, just keep in mind there isn’t much shade along the route.
Should be a great one.
