Alameda Bosque South - 4 to 6 Miles
Details
It is very hard finding trails with parking lots big enough to accommodate larger groups. Fortunately, a lot of these locations connect to multiple trails, so let’s try a new one.
For this adventure we’ll be parking off Alameda and heading south along the Bosque. There will be spots where we can step off the main path, head into the trees, and enjoy some of the scenery along the river.
We won’t be doing the full 10 miles. Plan on about 2 to 3 miles out and then back, for around 4 to 6 miles total depending on the group and how everyone is feeling.
This should be a nice relaxing walk with good company, some shade, and plenty of time to enjoy the Bosque.
Dogs are always welcome, but please keep them on a leash.
Please stay hydrated.
See you in the trails.
