Hello everyone! It's been a little while, so decided we need another Los Poblanos hike.
Oops, 1130 AM

It's June Time, so drink plenty of water and wear a broad brimmed hat.

This will limber us up for dancing later in the evening at Dirty Bourbon, right!

I strongly recommend that folks arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the set time of 1130, as I will leave at 1135 on the dot!

This is an approximately 3 mile hike around Los Poblanos Fields, part of the ABQ Open Space. There's some pretty fields & farmland, geese, cranes and the occasional owl, as well as nice mountain views. Parking is free. This will be a leisurely hike and is great for first timers as there is no person limit. The trail is very wide so there's lots of space to spread out and talk and get to know one another.

Dogs on fixed length leash are welcome. [Cats too if you want]

If you are at the inn, you are NOT in the right spot, and will need to backtrack east a little ways to Tierra Viva Pl.

HOW TO GET THERE

Take I-25 to the Montgomery/Montano exit (Exit 228). Head west on Montano past 4th St. and turn north on Tierra Viva Pl. Parking is available in the gravel lot on the west side of Tierra Viva Rd. Horse trailer parking is also available.

A decent vault toilet is available on the south end of the gravel parking lot.
