1.8 mile loop with 308’ Elev Gain. Walking time is 1hour. Rated - Easy
Dogs on leashes are welcome. Bring your hat, sun screen and plenty of water. It will still be hot outside. Hiking poles may be useful
Highlights include a relatively short loop with plenty of beautiful views, several fresh water springs at the surface and several ponds with vegetation and a few benches to sit on.
Everyone is welcome to join us at the Tako Ten (closes at 9pm), known for their wide variety of Tacos and salsas. In addition, beverages and food are available next door at Boxing Bear (closes at 10pm). 12501 Candelaria NE. Near Tramway and Candelaria.
CHANGE in PARKING LOCATION:
Based on the number of people on the wait list, we will car pool from the Smith's Parking Lot located at 200 Central Ave (near Tramway Blvd). Please be at Smith's parking lot at 6:30. We will leave Smiths at 6:40pm. The plan remains to start the hike at 7pm. Because of this change, we hope to have more folks on the hike.
