Nambe Badlands

For this event we will be heading to Santa Fe.
This is a 5.3-mile moderate hike with 538 feet of elevation gain and should take a little over 2 hours to complete. This one is a bit longer than what I usually post, but I want to push myself a little, and I'd love for you to join me.
It's been a couple of years since we've done this trail, so I'm looking forward to getting back out there.
Since we'll be hiking in early August, please come prepared for the summer heat. Bring plenty of water, snacks, sunscreen, and wear clothing that will help protect you from the sun. There isn't much shade along the trail.
This is a carpool event. We'll meet at the Target on Paseo. If you're coming from Santa Fe, feel free to meet us at the trailhead.
For those who would like to, we'll find a place to grab lunch in Santa Fe after the hike.
Hiking boots are preferred. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash.
