We’ll be heading out for an evening hike at San Antonito Open Space and taking the Middle Trail.

This is a 2.3-mile out-and-back hike with around 216 feet of elevation gain. It’s rated moderate and should make for a nice summer evening hike with some great views and slightly cooler temperatures than we’ve been getting during the day.

The trail can be rocky in areas, so good hiking shoes are recommended. Bring plenty of water and be prepared for the usual summer conditions.

Dogs are welcome and may be off leash in some areas.
There is virtually no parking at the trailhead, so we will be carpooling for this one. I’ll post the carpool information with the event details.

We’ll keep a comfortable group pace, enjoy the evening, and get a few miles in after the heat of the day starts to settle down.

See you on the trails.
