Details
If an easy to moderate hike that is a hidden gem of the Jemez, good food, and getting to know your fellow hikers sounds like fun, this event is for you! Just in time to celebrate the Halloween holiday, let's hike the Paliza Goblin Colony. Our adventure will start with carpooling and a prompt departure at 8:30 AM from the Rio Rancho Home Depot off HWY 550 (we meet in the NW corner by the outdoor sheds).
- Hike is rated Moderate, with 3 miles of hiking and 413 feet of elevation gain. The goblins are a unique geographical formation formed from volcanic flow hitting a wet ravine. Can we find the hidden petroglyph?!!!
