What we’re about

Calling all social and friendly dogs. Come and join us! This group meets weekly for social, on lead dog walking and training events.

Join us and start the day with a tail wagging walk, or have fun with training your furry friends. All dog types (and even dog walkers!) should feel welcome. Please note that in the interest of everyone's comfort and safety, we discourage the use of extendable leads or abrasive collars.

There is no charge for group walk, there is a package or drop-in charge for classes.

We offer group-oriented class that focuses on the skills needed for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification (we offer CGC evaluations throughout the year), Advanced Canine Good Citizen, Bond with Tricks, Recall All Day, and more.

During class, we work on beginner to intermediate skills, including how to work with a dog that is reactive on leash.

Members can pop in for a class at their leisure for $40 per class. If you want to make this your regular training session, we offer 6 session group training package for $180, which allows you to participate in a variety of classes.

Bring water for you and your dog, as well as treats or a toy that motivates your dog

For your first class, please complete and submit our Online Registration and Participant Release of Liability (https://caninelearningacademy.com/registration/).

***We use scientifically-proven, positive reinforcement methods to train your dog. We are proud to never use fear, pain, or force. We believe that training should be fun, humane, and effective; that’s why we’re a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP). All dogs must be on a harness/collar and leash. ***

1. Dogs that are not friendly toward people or other dogs must schedule a private consultation before attending class.
2. Dogs must be up-to-date on Bordetella vaccinations/titer, DHPP and Rabies vaccines.
