Our first session of Books that Matter will focus on Shoshana Zuboff’s *The Age of Surveillance Capitalism, *which argues that the human experience has become raw material for data extraction and behavioral prediction that represents a new economic order.
The discussion will focus on Zuboff’s argument, how it ties into current affairs, and how one’s personal experiences may relate to the topic.
You do not need to finish the entire book, although it is encouraged. Just read as much as you can.
