You can ask where this is to help find the meeting spot if end up entering through lower level.
We will meet in the cafe area at 1:45pm.
I have called ahead, so they are expecting us. Just checkin when you arrive with your free reservation or zip code, no ticket needed.
I was going to surprise, but I prepared an optional scavenger hunt as you go through the museum.
I will hand it out at the meeting spot or when we go the the grand gallery, which will give us more room to gather and any introductions before we disperse.
We can meet again all together in the grand gallery around 4:30pm for anyone who would like to share about the art or listen to thoughts and reveal answers to handout.
It is Sunday, so street parking is free, but you may still have to circle around and find a spot. There are locations on their website for RISD campus that are available.

Photography is allowed throughout museum- no flash. You can bring a sketchbook and draw with regular or colored pencills- no marker or paint.
If you have a backpack or large bag you may be required to check it in free lockers. There is also an area for coats all to the left by the welcome desk.
We will do a general walk through or you can do self-guided including contemporary, Impressionist, Roman and Greek sculpture, ceramics, Egyptian and an entire attached house museum with colonial furniture and settings. You might not see it all in one day, but it is a manageable collection worth the trip and the return.
It will be very exciting!
You may want to consider in advance the RISD Museum membership which is available free to self Rhode Island artists (all levels and types). Some of the membership levels include free reciprocal membership to over 100 artistic and cultural locations nationwide. There may be future meetups planned based on locations.
