This is a group for anyone who is interested in the many regional cultures, languages and various foods of India and South Asia as a whole; For any Indians, South Asians, and Asians in general (or any people in general for that matter) in all walks of life who are interested in coming together to learn, share, socialize and make new friends! # Community Safety & Respect Guidelines

Our meetup is intended to be a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive space for everyone.

### 1. Respect Boundaries

• Treat all members with respect.
• No harassment, intimidation, stalking, or unwanted advances.
• If someone declines an invitation, conversation, or request, respect their decision and move on.

### 2. Unwanted Direct Messages

• Do not send unsolicited romantic, sexual, or persistent messages to members.
• If someone asks you to stop messaging them, you must stop immediately.
• Repeated unwanted messages may result in removal from the group.

### 3. Adding Members to Outside Chats

• Do not add members to group chats, social media groups, or messaging platforms without their permission.
• Do not share another member's contact information without their consent.

### 4. Zero Tolerance for Predatory Behavior

• Members should attend to socialize, build friendships, and participate in activities—not to aggressively pursue dates or romantic interests.
• Behavior that makes others feel unsafe, pressured, or uncomfortable may result in removal from the group.

### 5. Report Concerns

• If someone makes you uncomfortable, harasses you, or violates these rules, contact an organizer privately.
• Reports will be handled discreetly and taken seriously.

### 6. Organizer Discretion

• Organizers reserve the right to remove members whose behavior negatively impacts the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of the group.
• Repeated complaints, even if each incident seems minor on its own, may lead to removal.
