### 🌟 South Asian Dancers: Audition for a Legacy-Building Performance Company 🌟
Are you an intermediate to advanced dancer trained in South Asian styles? Ready to perform, grow, and shape the future of dance?
We’re Rang De Bollywood – a visionary Bay Area-based company creating powerful, soul-stirring dance experiences. We are now auditioning intermediate to advanced South Asian dancers to join our core performance company for a multi-year journey of artistic growth and impact.
### 🔥 What We’re Building:
We’re not just forming a team. We’re defining a standard of heart and soul in dance through dance — one that celebrates excellence, storytelling, and heart. Our goal is to set a new bar for South Asian dance in the Bay Area and globally, over the next 10 to 20 years. We’re seeking dancers who want to be part of something long-term, meaningful, and legacy-defining.
### 🌱 What You'll Gain:

• First shot at Performance Workshops and potential Degree in Indian Folk Dance if you continue the 2-3 year journey in learning all folk dances
• Paid and unpaid performance opportunities (for advanced dancers who have been with the company for 1 year)
• Mentorship to become a choreographer and teacher within our company - For those that are aligned with our company mission and vision
• Training & rehearsal sessions with some of the finest talents and guest teachers
• Access to a compassionate, committed, and powerful community of dancers
• Opportunity to learn backend, shine your light, assist with high end events
• The chance to perform in iconic venues and cultural events across the Bay Area and beyond

### 💛 Who We’re Looking For:

• Intermediate to advanced dancers trained in any South Asian dance style (classical, folk, Bollywood, contemporary fusion, etc.)
• Artists who value kindness, loyalty, collaboration, and integrity
• Dancers with a long-term mindset — ready to invest in themselves and the company
• People who can’t live without dance, who want to grow as performers, choreographers, educators, and visionaries
• Individuals deeply committed to their artistic growth, dance education, and lifelong dance dreams — who never want to stop
• Ideally live near San Francisco (rehearsals will be in SF)
• Dance majors and degrees are welcome (in non Indian dance forms) - We are open to collaborations with Universities

Whether you’re a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, a fierce Bollywood performer, or a Garba lover with grit and grace — we want to meet you.
### 📍 Audition Details:
🗓 Date/Time: August 10th| 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., August 17th, 24th | 2 p.m. Dance Mission Theatre
📍 Location: Dance Mission Theater, San Francisco✅ Pre-registration required then fill out a google form etc

1 hour slot for teachers to audition and group auditions for performers
Opportunities to perform on August 29th - Tippani or Garba dance at Union Square (Looking for people who can pick up garba like steps fast and dance with sticks)

Oct 9th and 10th - 8 min Medley of Indian folk dances in SF
