Final Fall Aspen Hike, October 4

Join Sam Hitt on a hike through the Santa Fe National Forest amongst the golden boughs of the aspen trees! Enjoy a moderate hike and enjoy the beautiful vistas, all while learning the natural history of aspens and the threats they face in the Southwest.

Meet at 9:30 a.m. to carpool from the PERA Parking Lot near Kakawa Chocolate House, 1050 Paseo De Peralta, to Ski Santa Fe. Participants will then be taking the "quad" chairlift up and hiking down 2.5 miles of steep terrain. Bring a hat, water, and rain gear.
