Ramsbottom Rambling (13 Miles, Moderately Challenging)

Details

A much nicer place than the name suggests, Ramsbottom is a quaint little town in an attractive corner of south Lancashire.

On this outing we'll be visiting as many of the area's points of interest as possible, including Bull Hill, the Pilgrims' Cross, Stubbins Estate, the Tentering Tower, the Remnant Kings sculpture, Edenfield Waterfall and, of course, Peel Tower.

Also, if the Army trainees aren't having target practice, we'll head down to Holcombe Moor Training Camp and see if we can spot the old Krypton Factor assault course in the grounds.

Expect a few hills on this one!

Starting point
