Yorkshire Sculpture Park is one of those places you can return to time and again and see something new each visit. What's even better is that you can see it all for nowt on this outing as we wander over from nearby Clayton West.

We'll be starting from Cannon Hall Farm at 10am but the café, farm shop and gardens are open from 9 so get there early if you fancy a mooch around.

After a hike over Deffer Hill and through the various surrounding woodlands we'll descend into Bretton Country Park where we can split up and explore the sculpture park for an hour or so.

Once we've absorbed a bit of culture and had lunch we'll meet at the The Virgin Mother sculpture (you can't miss her - she's a 10 metre tall pregnant lady with half her skin off). Then it's past the Seated Figure, through High Hoyland and back into Cannon Hall Country Park for a tipple at the White Bull.

No end of cafés and toilets on this trek so don't fret if those are your usual concerns.
