The Rivelin and The Loxley (12 Miles, Moderate)

Details

Here's some more new territory for the marauding Maxonians: the Rivelin Valley. So strap on your steel toe-capped boots and stomp on over to the far side of the Peaks - to within smelting distance of Sheffield - and come explore the handsome and history-packed corner of South Yorkshire.

Expect heaps of Industrial Revolution-era remains and remnants of even earlier metal-molding mill action.

There'll be plenty of natural wonders too with hills, woodland, rivers and waterfalls aplenty.

Not the hardest hike this one but still a few ups and downs to keep things interesting.
