The first hike I ever led was from Congleton, and so far it's the only walk that received a mere 3 star review from one less-than-happy attendee. It's time to remedy this misstep.
In an effort to break the Congo Curse, I'll be taking us on a tour of the surrounding area, visiting many of the region's attractions including Mow Cop, Glebe Farm Animal Enclosure, Little Moreton Hall, the Parson's Well and the Wishing Tree.
At the risk of losing a star early doors, there's no café or loos at the start point but a short way into the walk we'll get to Glebe Farm which has a coffee shop.
Lunch stop will be at Little Moreton Hall. If you're a National Trust member you can even have a nosey around the building for half an hour.
After the hike we'll head to the Wonky Pear for a beer or a cuppa.
